We got a great honor to have the interview with two winemakers of Chateau Bolongbao to introduce your about their chateau this weed-end . Miss Liu Dandan and Mr Xue Fei .

For Mr Xue, we got two question from our visitor :

Q:Does china have the excellent terroir to make wine ?how about Chateau Bolongbao ?

A:China has very large area ,she has many kinds of the soils and climates .I think,we will find a lot of excellent regions in china,even LVMH( Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy),DBR(Domaines Barons de Rothschild) began to build their chateau in china . For example , Huaizhuo basin where Chateau Bolongbao located have already a long history of plant vine also been proved that it have excellent terroir  .

Q:For your or for chateau bolongbao ,what`s the biggest opportunity ,and the challenge ?

A:Opportunities accompanied challenges. Prensent , no matter in which part ,prodction, imports  and consume of the wine industry has a very quick development. For us this is a good opportunity cause thousands of people begin to drink wine . But also there are some issues with the high development .The fake wine and bad wine which destroy the reputation of Chinese winery.For me the quality is the most important ,we strict control the yield , use organic method to make our wine,let it  go back to nature. At last the wine is bottled in the chateau ourself  .all of these is just for a perfect wine !

Introduction of Chinese winery

When we talk about Chinese wine, maybe you will think, they make wine? Or you could say “you must be kidding me!”. It is a common impression for those who don't know Chinese wine and winery well, and because China has a long history of spirit, the wine is indeed not so famous in the world, and wine industry is a new region for the old China.

But in fact, they really make wine and also has a long history. China began to make wine from Han Dynasty (BC 115), and a lot of poems talk about the wine, one of the most famous was written by WangHan at Tang Dynasty  (AD 618—907).

Nowadays in china, there are almost 500 wineries located in 10 different regions. If you like wine, you won't ever want to miss this great and cultural country, you will find it is not so bad, although these wineries are affected by Bordeaux style so much, but more or less they have their own characteristics.
